New puppy pics

Ana’s pups are over a week old now and I just finished uploading some individual pics of each of the puppies.  They are all doing great, some a little more rotund than the others but each of them are gaining nicely.  Ana is doing well too, she’s feeling more comfortable around her puppies and with us around her pups.  She even had a couple of visitors this weekend!  Enjoy the new pics, you can find them here.

Puppies Have Arrived…and there are oodles of doodles!

Ana’s puppies have arrived.  Her puppies were born on May 30.  And they are gorgeous, all 13 of them!  There are 6 cream/gold (all males), 3 yummy chocolates (2 males and 1 female), 3 shiny blacks (2 males and 1 female) and one phantom girl.  It is such a beautiful litter that I may keep one for myself!  I could not be happier with the colors and coats.  So 10 males and 3 female in all.  It was a long day for poor Ana but now we know why she was so HUGE!  All of the puppies are doing really great, eating well and very active.  Ana is tired of course but she is doing good as well.  These puppies will all have amazing fleece coats (Nash has the most amazing coat of all of my doodles!), will be non shedding, and will be standard sized, 40lbs and up.  There are still some spots available (actually lots of spots available LOL!) but they have already started filling up so they won’t last!  For adoption information you can visit our adoption page or you can always email us at info@davidsondoodles.com.

Where did the time go!

A lot has happened since my last entry 2 months ago!  All of Dottie’s puppies went home to their families and what lucky puppies they are to have found such wonderful families!  Stella’s pregnancy was unfortunately not meant to be this time which was a huge disappointment.  I was so excited to see puppies from her and Charlie.

On a brighter note, our very own Nash and Ana honeymooned just before Easter and the pregnancy was confirmed by ultrasound last week.  We saw at least 8 little heartbeats in there so it looks like it will be another big litter for Ana.  These puppies will be born around May 28 and will be ready for their forever homes around the third week in July. There are still puppies available from this litter.  For adoption information, visit our Adoption page or send me an email to info@davidsondoodles.com.

It’s hard to believe that it is May already, and only 2 more months left of school before summer break.  And finally some nice weather to enjoy!

Stay tuned, as thing starts happening with Ana I will be updating the blog or Facebook more frequently.  If you haven’t already, don’t forget to like us on Facebook!

Dottie’s puppies are 4 weeks old

Dottie’s puppies are now 4 weeks old and doing great.  As you will see in their pictures, their coats continue to change almost daily.  I hope that all of you that are adopting one of Dottie’s puppies send me lots of pictures so I can see how their coats end up.  I really can’t wait to see what they look like.  They are all so unique and such beautiful colors, it’s so much fun watching them change.  You can see the new puppy pics here.

Stella Has Honeymooned

Our beautiful Stella has honeymooned with Copper Canyon’s Hat Trick aka Charlie.  We will confirm pregancy with ultrasound at the end of March.  Assuming she is pregnant, Stella’s puppies should arrive around April 26 and be ready for their forever families at the end of June – perfect timing so spend the summer with your new family member.  I will accept 4 deposits initially for this litter as this is her first litter and not sure how many to expect.  If the ultrasound confirms more, i will accept more at that time.  There is still one spot left for a deposit.  Once the four spots are filled, I will hold your spot without a deposit until I know how many puppies to expect.  You can see a picture of this cute couple here.

I am also planning a summer litter of standard Australian labradoodles with Ana and Nash, our new stud muffin from Colorado.  Hopefully the timing works out and we can go ahead with this litter as planned.  Their puppies should be reds, creams, and blacks and be standard in size weighing about 50lb, and 23″ tall.  You can visit our adoption page for more information about adopting one of these puppies.

1 Week Old already.

I uploaded some individual pics of the puppies yesterday on their 1 week birthday.  You can view them here.  All of the puppies are doing great.  Very strong and active.  Dottie is doing great too, she has settled down already and is easy going as ever already.  I also uploaded a video to our YouTube page but as of now it is still not showing up there.  Enjoy the pictures.

Puppy arrival

Dottie delivered 8 healthy puppies on Jan31/2013.  There are 6 girls and 2 boys.  There is one black girl, although i’m still not convinced that she is going to stay black, and the rest are brown.  3 of the browns will turn phantom, and one of the browns is brindle.  And then there are 3 that should stay brown!  Everyone is doing really good, pups are active, and Dottie is an amazing mom as usual.  Here is a link to some pictures that are on our Flickr page.  I will get individual pics as soon as mama Dottie will let me!  And here is a link to a video, nothing too exciting, sorry…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejJEY16vb_4

We are getting close…

As you can tell from this picture of Dottie, she is about to burst!  But of course she still likes her tummy rubs.  The only problem is that sometimes when she gets on her back, she can’t get herself back over onto her feet.  She’s waddling around, a lot slower than usual these days.  But no signs of labor yet.  Still waiting for her temp to drop, which should happen in a couple of days.  She’s always been right on time for me with her previous litters so i expect we will see puppies by the end of the weekend.  If i had to put money on it, i would say Friday.
